~The Wanderer~

1600B.C.-A man parched wanders an endless barren wasteland. He stops upon the remote banks of a river. His flesh necrotic and submerged in deep endless pain. His skin blotted with horrific wounds,His flesh withers in the radiance of the sunlight.Even sweat from his brow seems to agitate the wounds upon his face that are already pulsating from the extreme heat and the pain that burns from within,Flys began to make nest in the rotted naked flesh.Laying their eggs deep within the wounds. His name was Abu-Sin, A farmer whom searched for answers in the desert.A noble man who's countless prayers to Yahwey fell upon deaf and uncaring ears.So now he turned to his enemy's deity. The God Of Pain an ancient deity that Abu-Sin believed that if the god could create pain he may be able to reverse it.

"Mighty god of suffering and anguish, hear my prayers and free me from my lament"-Abu-Sin cried.

And the deity answered his prayers, he appeared before Abu-Sin his appearance grotesque,The body of a nude man but the flesh abscent from his face-
"I will set you free my child,I will end your pain"-As he pulled upon his stomach his organs and gore rushed forward spilling wildly in the river below-"You must now be baptized in my blood,To sooth your wounds and your endless suffering,To be given new life"-Abu-Sin stepped forward fear rising in his heart for he knew this choice would damn him.But all he could think about is the indisputable pain.He moved to the blood and fell within it,Feeling it transform him and reshaping his soul.Abu-Sin emerged from the crimson mass and the god spoke-"Your wounds are healed of their anguish but will remain as scars to remind you of your beginning,And your life span will expand to millennia rather then minuscule years,And as for tribute to me you will drink the blood of mortals to quench your own thirst and to feed me as well my child"-Abu-Sin seen his horrid complexion in the soft subtle currents,He seen his new features among the scars.More creature than a man.His appearance his penance?or his gift for forsaking his god for another? He knew his place now.He made his way back to his home in Narim.Pondering his eternal course.
